If I paid off my mortgage mid year and my 1098 only reflects partial property taxes paid for the year, where do I post the total or balance on this software?

First enter the Form 1098, including the property tax shown on that form. Then type "property tax" (without the quotes) in the Search box, and click the link that says "Jump to property tax." It will show the property tax that you already entered on the 1098, and there will be a box to enter additional property tax.
