If filing married filing separately can we both deduct mortgage interest and property tax?

It depends, while you both cannot deduct the full amount, you can both put a half of the payments or the amount each paid of the total on your returns, as long as both names are on the mortgage papers.  Example:  If mortgage interest is $1,500 and Taxes are $750 then each would put; mortgage interest $750 and taxes $375.  Using the same FEIN name and address of the mortgage company.
