I worked in India till May 15th of last year and moved to the US after that. I have already paid taxes in India till May15th. Do I need to show my income as foreign income?

I worked in Taiwan for half of 2015 and then returned to the U.S. You will need to prove that you qualify for a Foreign Income Exclusion and then complete Form 2555-EZ. It was not as easy as it looked for me upon my return, and I eventually hired a tax preparer, who had experience handling reporting of foreign-earned income. Good luck!
