I work for a foreign embassy in DC - I am a US citizen. I have been making estimated quarterly payment as well. Is my income considered to be Foreign Income?

I do not get a W-2, but a statement of payments/income received from my foreign employer.

I do make estimated quarterly payment throughout the year for each current tax year.

Do I report my income as Foreign Income or Self-Employed?

It is considered self employment income, but only for the purpose of self employment taxes, not for the purpose of claiming expenses or SEP/IRA plans.

If you are a dual citizen, there might be a tax treaty relevant for this situation.
