I was paid for work that I did from my home and was given w-2 form. How do I deduct home office expenses? This income is not treated as income on Schedule C.

The software tells me that I cannot deduct home office expenses because I did not make profit on Sch-C. But I could not include the income reported on W2. All work was done at home, the organization that paid me did not have a room for me there. How do I deduct the home office expenses?

Unfortunately, the home office deduction has been eliminated for employees (receiving form W-2) by the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
