I refinanced my home last year and the previous lender used an escrow account, new one doesn't (so I set up my own for myself.) Confused about 2016 property taxes.

I just paid property taxes myself for all of last year, but I think my previous lender might have paid some already. How do I enter this into my taxes? I have three 1098s...kind of confused.

The easiest thing would be to call the assessors office and find out what was paid in 2016.
