I received a refund last year because of adding solar to my home. Do I have to add this refund in my taxes this year?

No, you don't need to add a federal tax refund from last years return to this years return; state refunds (not federal) are added to the current years tax return, to determine if any portion will be included as taxable income in the current return.

No, you don't need to add a federal tax refund from last years return to this years return; state refunds (not federal) are added to the current years tax return, to determine if any portion will be included as taxable income in the current return.
