I purchased a Class C RV / Motor home for rental service. Do I list the Asset as a tool, machinery, etc and choose trailer or do I list it as a vehicle somewhere else?

The Trailers category would be five year depreciation, so list it there. Report income/expenses on Schedule E if you rent out and don't provide services. Report on Schedule C if you do provide services.
