It is listed on your W-2 and already reflected in TurboTax computations as taxes paid. It is part of the State Income tax deduction on the Sch A Itemized deductions.

So it does not get entered elsewhere. I just made a local tax entry on a W-2 and it does get carried over correctly.

I am over 65. I earned $40, 000 in 2023. TurboTax allows me to contribute only $1310 deductible to traditional IRA, not the rest to nondeductible IRA. Why? Is TT defect?
