No. The taxes must be paid in 2018 for you to be able to deduct them on your 2018 tax return. Is it possible you paid your 2017 taxes in January of 2018? If you did, they would be deductible on your 2018 tax return.

No. The taxes must be paid in 2018 for you to be able to deduct them on your 2018 tax return. Is it possible you paid your 2017 taxes in January of 2018? If you did, they would be deductible on your 2018 tax return.
