I opened HSA last year, but I didn't contribute much. Am I able to contribute to last year HSA before I file my 2016 tax?

Yes, you can contribute to your HSA for tax year 2016 up to the due date of your tax return, 4/18/17. Contact your HSA custodian to contribute after-tax amounts or your employer to contribute pre-tax amounts (via payroll).

If you do make the contributions , navigate back to the HSA section to enter the contribution amounts for 2016.
