Yes. You can report the moving expenses you paid in 2017 on your 2017 tax return. However, you'll need to claim your 2016 moving expenses on your 2016 tax return.
In order to claim the expenses, your new job must meet the requirements: the new job must be more than 50 miles from your old home and you’ll need to work full-time for at least 39 weeks (within the first 12 months) after your move.
You will enter the same criteria to qualify to deduct the moving expenses on both the 2016 and 2017 tax returns (for example, the miles from your old home to old workplace and old home to new workplace), so keep this information in your files.
