Has anyone else had a problem entering a 1099-R, not a disaster relief, but where the program keeps asking for the type of disaster?

I had this issue and just left the disaster type line blank.

It worked.  Thanks!

I have found the same problem.  It asked about Disaster Relief in 2017 (which it acknowledged was "$0").  But when I left it blank and continued, it proceeded to ask about Disaster Relief for 2016. Arg!

Leave that blank as well.

When you are on the page that is asking for the info, go to the forms view. Note the form number and on the left side click on that form. On the bottom of the form page you can click on delete. I had to do this for two forms for this subject. PLEASE BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR RETURN BEFORE YOU DO THIS BECAUSE THE DEFAULT FORM HILIGHTED IS YOUR ENTIRE RETURN.

This "glitch" does not stop me from Efiling but the Federal return keeps coming back rejected. We need a solution.
