I filed an extension and made a payment. But I cannot get the credit from Turbotax desktop software

I did the steps in the bottom but it is not working. two evidnces:

1. my fed tax refund not increase by xx$ when I input the xx$, but it is working for state tax as I saw yy $ added to the state refund immediately.

2. The federal extension payment is not shown on 1040 Schedule 3 Line 9.

I got blocked here now and cannot efile further.

in forms mode go to the payment worksheet and enter the extension payment on the appropriate line.

In TurboTax (TT), enter at:

Federal Taxes Tab (Personal for H&B version)

Deductions & Credits

-Scroll down to:

--Estimates & other taxes paid

   -Other Income taxes

      On the next screen:

       -Payments with Extension

          -Payment with 2022 Federal extension
