I am buying a second home that is not my primary residence or an investment property. Does it matter if it called a seasonal home versus a second home?
No - regardless if you call it a seasonal or second home, the tax treatment is the same.
Please note that if you rent out the home for any length of time over 14 days during the tax year, you may need to recognize rental income.

No - regardless if you call it a seasonal or second home, the tax treatment is the same.
Please note that if you rent out the home for any length of time over 14 days during the tax year, you may need to recognize rental income.
