I am using Turbo Tax Home & Business. I understand that I can take my mileage used for my charitable work on my Schedule A.
What I am confused about is how I enter it, in the Step by Step section when I am working on my Donations.
I accrue the mileage for a number of different organizations, with multiple trips throughout the year.
Should I just add a new charity that I call: Mileage for charitable work?
If so, do I put the cost as a "cash contribution" or as an item I donated?

Click the Personal tab and then Deductions & Credits.
In the Charitable Donations section click the Start (or Update) button to the right of Donations to Charity in 2023.
