How do I enter my tax-exempt Medicaid waiver payments from IHSS for Notice 2014-17 in Turbo Tax for 2023 tax return if Box 1 and Box 2 on my W2 show "0"?

You enter the W-2 and then ALSO add the Medicare Waver Payments if desired. 

The payments may increase a credit. The program will ask if you wish to include that amount. 

Select None for Box 1 if the payment was not reported in Box 1. 

Enter the amount you earned for "Difficulty Of care" payments in the box below.

Remember that if you claim any, you need to claim ALL the payment.
