how do i change the unused Tuition/Education amount

Hi, I am doing my taxes and realized i cannot change the unused Tuition/Education amount in my tax return. I have a lot of credit but turbotax automatically put an amount for me, I want to put an amount myself instead, how do i change that? the only thing i can enter is the carried forward amount last year, but not how much i want to claim this year.

Can you clarify? Education credits don't carryover. 

Are you trying to carryover education expenses? They don't carryover either. You claim what was paid in the tax year for expenses of that tax year and up to the first three months of the following year if paid in the tax year.
