Foreign taxes paid in foreign currency - 2023 edition

In the previous years, only the Desktop version allowed entering the taxes paid in foreign currency and the associated exchange rate. (Form 1116, part II, accompanied by the Form1116 - ... - Details and Notes)

Is there any improvement for the 2023 online edition, that would allow using it for the situation above?

No but you may calculate the exchange rate in US dollars and report it.

Curious as to why last year I was able to use turbo tax free edition, but this year, no matter how hard I tried, I was only recommended and forced to pay basic edition?
