Foreign tax credit

I made an error in trying to work through $882 in foreign taxes paid. However, the instructions were not clear once I got to the error check module and I seem to have checked the wrong box somewhere along the way and now the software will not let me return to the point of error to fix it. It just keeps sending me in circles to the point of madness.

Can you share with us the exact error message that you are receiving?  This will clarify for us how we can best help you work through to clear the error.

Thank you for reaching out. I gave the effort a rest overnight, gave it some further thought and figured out that to correct an erroneous entry I had made, I needed to delete the form that was created and could not be edited, and start that part over. Once I did that, the problem was solved. Thank you again, your thoughts inspired my resolution.
