foreign tax credit

I have US rental income (of course without tax slip) which I declared it at line 12600 of the tax return. Now to claim the foreign tax credit how I have to proceed . It's a non sense: on one hand, when I filled the table showing column for each country detailing each type of foreign income Turbo tax took the net rental amount of line 12600 but somehow add it again to double my rental income. On the other hand on the same table in the section of foreign tax amount, there is no possible way to enter the tax amount paid on US rental income; tax paid on other investment income contained in slips issued is shown though on the line above the rental income line.

I still desperately stuggle to find a way to enter the US tax paid amount on the US rental income and a way not to double the net rental income and appreciate an angel's reply.
