I entered the FOREIGN TAX PAID - Line 7 from my 2022 1099 Dividend from my mutual fund company.
I also entered the TOTAL DIVIDENDS AND DISTRIBUTIONS from the detailed backup.
The foreign tax credit does not show up on my 1040 Line 20 like it did in prior years.
Line 20 says AMOUNTS FROM SCHEDULE 3 LINE 8.
Schedule 3 was not in the list of forms.
I downloaded it and opened it but am unable to enter values on it.
My total income is about the same each year.
My FOREIGN TAX CREDIT is slightly over $300 (individual) this year.
i tried to use FORM 1116 but was unable to complete it.
Regarding the EDITION of Turbo Tax, I have been downloading it each year. It doesn't Deluxe, Premier or Basic

I just entered the FOREIGN INCOME on FOREIGN TAX CREDIT COMPUTATION WORKSHEET.
The income on 1040 did not change, but the FOREIGN TAXES PAID still didn't appear on the 1040

Make sure you enter the date the foreign income was paid. The system has defaulted to a date in December but you need to adjust that date to the actual date that you paid the tax.
