Foreign tax credit carryover did NOT transfer from my 2022 return to my 2023 return though (I think) everything else did. What is the workaround?

When I look at Forms, very specifically it says that the amount from line 8 should appear in my Schedule B 1116 form as a carryover, but it is blank.  If I try to override, it does not flow through to subsequent fields. Is this a bug?

You don't have to do an override. Go to the 1116 Comp Ws and you can enter the numbers without an override. Once the information is in the correct place, it will flow as it should.

When you are doing an override, you have to start at the beginning. You always want to data source to where the numbers begin.  In cases like this, you often will not need to override the information.

Easy Step does not generate the Form 1116 Computation Worksheet. I cannot get it to open. It is not an available Form when I go to Forms.

I am still baffled.
