Foreign Dividend Income

I followed prompts to enter income as Foreign 1099-DIV but what do we put for the FEIN as dividend income is treated differently then unreported income. What is the work around in TTO?

if you enter this in the 1099-DIV section you are not required to enter an EIN. In TurboTax online, simply select the "I'll type it in myself" entry option and follow the prompts. You should not be asked for FEIN. If using TurboTax desktop, select the option "No, they didn't" when asked about the FEIN.
