filing purchase of vacation home

My mom and her two sisters owned (outright) a vacation home. I bought out my mom's portion last year (through money paid directly to my mom, quit claim deed says $10). I feel I should be filing this on turbotax but I cannot for the life of me see where I should put that I purchased a vacation home last year. I don't need to file property taxes or anything as my aunt takes care of those. Do I still need to file this, even though it's 1/3 ownership, and even though I don't have a loan or anything? If so, any idea where to file? Thank you so much!

The purchase is not a tax related transaction and doesn’t have to be reported.

However mom might have to file a gift tax form 709.
