economic impact paper came in the mail

i just got economic impact paper  in the mail right after i did my taxes my question is do i need to add this to my taxes i dont think i do cause it dosent say that i have to  but i want a 2nd opinion thanks

It depends. When you say economic impact paper, was this a check or a letter 6475 informing you what your third stimulus payment was? It depends on whether or not you told Turbo Tax if you received the third stimulus payment or not.

If you told Turbo Tax you did not receive it, then you received a credit in your return for not receiving the payment.  If this is the case, then you will need to file an amended return to essentially pay back the credit. If you reported you received the credit, then no further action is required.

If you need to file an amended return, you will to wait until 02/24 to file your amended return plus it does need to accepted by the IRS before filing.
