Most taxpayers do not qualify for the Health Coverage Tax Credit (it's for workers who have been certified as "displaced workers" - see this TurboTax FAQ for more information.
If you don't know what this credit is or what this program is, then you probably entered something by accident that made TurboTax think that you were eligible.
To start over on health care, please do:
*** Desktop***
1. go to View (at the top), choose Forms, and select the desired form. Note the Delete Form button at the bottom of the screen.
*** Online ***
1. go to Tax Tools (on the left), and navigate to Tools->Delete a form
2. delete any healthcare worksheets, and form(s) 8885-T, and 8885-S (if one)
NOTE, after you do
this, you may need to redo your healthcare interview (Health Insurance,
at the top).
