Disaster Deduction Outside of Incident Period

I found the only declared disaster in my state of NC and year 2022 is North Carolina Hurricane Ian (EM-3586-NC) with Incident Period: September 28, 2022 - October 4, 2022 (Declared Disasters | FEMA.gov).

I had strong wind damage my house in December 2022, which is outside of the above incident period. Would this house damage be considered as part of Hurricane Ian (EM-3586-NC) and can be deduced for disaster? Thank,

Disaster Deduction Outside of Incident Period

No.

Your damage is suffered outside the incident period of Hurricane Ian and is not not attributable to federally declared disasters. It cannot be claimed as a casualty loss.
