Depreciation schedule for commercial rental property

I purchased building in 1986 when partnership was formed.  I have one depreciation schedule for entire building, land  and improvements.  I have 2 suites that I lease out to separate companies.  I have always split the depreciation schedule by square footage keeping only one depreciation schedule.  How do I enter only one depreciation schedule to be allocated to the separate suites?

The only way to accomplish that would be to treat the building as two separate buildings, the point of which escapes me, frankly.

Why would you not simply aggregate the rental income/expenses and report as having received the income, and incurred the expenses, from one property (which is what appears to be happening)?
