As far as I know, certain costs like escrow fees or real estate agent commissions are tax deductible after a traditional home sale. How is the situation on a cash traditional sale? For example, if I sell my home to an iBuyer like Zillow, Opendoor or Offerpad, can I still deduct the agent fees and closing costs that those companies calculate into the cash offer? Is it also possible to deduct the additional service fee that those companies charge?
