charitable deduction for service rendered.

I am a media specialist for a local church approximately 15 hours a week/ 48 weeks a year. I create the graphics, set up the live stream, run the livestream, film and produce all social media required for various service. I do not get paid. Can I take a charitable deduction for the services I provide as a media specialist.

charitable deduction for service rendered.

You cannot take a deduction for the value of your services. You can only deduct cash given, mileage to and from the church (for additional visits related to your volunteer job, not just to attend services) at the charitable donation rate of 14 cents per mile, and items such as equipment you donate to the church.
