Casualty Deduction

I had a loss due to Hurricane Ida which was a Federally- declared disaster.  My insurance did not cover anything, but FEMA provided partial assistance.  How do I show the amount of the FEMA check on TurboTax

Casualty Deduction

FEMA disaster grants are not considered taxable income and are not reported on your tax return.  This TurboTax link What if I have property that was lost or damaged (a casualty loss)?  has information you may find helpful in claiming your disaster losses.

Thanks Leonard.  Can I also deduct the cost of the fee for a water remediation company that we hired to pumped out the water, rip up the carpet and dry out the area?  I believe so, but can't figure out how and where on Turbo Tax.
