Car was totaled in accident. Value $4475. Not reimbursed by insurance. Can I deduct?

The company truck that hit my car and totaled it refuses to reimburse me for value and refused to submit claim to insurance. Can I deduct pre accident value of $4475?

Unfortunately, no.  For 2018, casualty losses are only deductible for damage that occurred from a natural disaster in a federally declared disaster area.  See more information below:
