Cannot compare my total allowable deductions with the $24,000. Will not let me enter any items except charity. Correction coming???

I've tried to use the Override, but that doesn't work either.  I do want to itemize all allowable and I have more than the $24,000 - so where do I enter since your program will not allow me to do so.
