Ok so let us say you are self-employed, and you use a vehicle to do your work. This vehicle is under a family member's name and it was given to your son but your son lets you use the vehicle. I know standard mileage rate deduction does not apply due to the vehicle being under a different name and depreciation, however, in this case, can you use actual expense deduction if the person driving the vehicle for work has paid for the gas, oil, and repairs?
