Can we still claim DOT meal allowance in 2018?

I have been using TurboTax for at least 20 years. For 2021, I purchased TurboTax Premier. We moved from VA to MA in November 2021. We sold a home in VA and bought one in MA.  Will the Premier version I purchased allow me to complete both state filings and our federal returns. If not, what additional software do I need?

Premier will work fine for your federal return.   You will need to have or get both the VA and the MA state returns, but you can add any states to any version at any time.   You'll prepare 2 part-year returns for VA and MA.   Next year (assuming you do not move again), you will only need the MA state return.    Everything about the home sale will be entered in on the federal return, then that income will be allocated in the state returns.   

Helpful information for your home sale - Home Sale Taxability - You won't pay taxes on the first $250,000 (also known as a gain) you make from the sale of your home. If you're Married Filing Jointly, you won't pay taxes on the first $500,000.
