Can rent be a Deducted?

I live and work in Ga. My home is in another part of the state too far for a daily commute. I rent an apartment in Florida. Can the rent I pay be deducted?

If you are a W2 employee, you cannot deduct as a work-related expense because there is a suspension of the Miscellaneous deductions. In general, you cannot deduct living expenses if you report to a regular place of work (this is your tax home).
