Can I take off hsa when my spouse had it but I didn't but I am getting credit for it?

Do you have a code W in box 12 on your W-2? This means that your employer sent money to an HSA, yours or your spouse's.

No, you can't take off the HSA until we establish why you have it.

What do you mean, "You are getting credit for it?"

Does your spouse work and get a W-2? Does your spouse have a code W in box 12 on his/her W-2?
