It depends. If you are a self-employed carpenter, and you
have to drive to various locations to; complete a 'job', purchase supplies or
meet with future customers, then yes, you can deduct as an expense when you are
completing your taxes. If you are an
employee and you drive to various locations as requested by your employer, and
you were not reimbursed, you will also be able to claim as an expense also.
However, you will only be able to claim them as an employee if;
- You can itemize deductions
and
- They, and your other
