Can a 501(c)(19) organization receive a QCD?
Yes. A QCD is generally a nontaxable distribution made directly to an organization eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions. Organizations that are eligible to receive donations can be searched using this IRS search tool. Generally, 501(c)(19) organizations qualify if they meet all the requirements listed here.
