I have a home 100 miles from where I work. The town in which I work I have an apartment where I live during the week and come home over the weekends. I pay local tax where my home is. Can I deduct any travel expenses for the 100 miles I travel each Monday to go to the town in which I work. Can I deduct the living expenses for my apartment where I live from Monday thru Friday?
