As a flight attendant, how do I claim per diem?

To clarify please help with some additional information:

1. Are you an employee of an airline?
2. Are  you reimbursed for your work related expenses?
3. Are you in the military, armed forces?
4. Does this question relate to your state return?  If so, which state?

Since the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) very few employees are entitled to any job related expenses on the federal return.
