Are long-term care premiums still deductable in NC?

Yes, they are included in medical expenses.  But would only be a deduction in NC if

1 - You were itemized on your federal return and took the medical deduction.

2 - your NC itemized deductions exceed the NC standard deduction

N.C. Standard Deduction Amounts for Most Taxpayers: - from NC instructions

Filing Status
Single                                                            $ 8,750
Married Filing Jointly/Qualifying Widow(er)  $17,500
Married Filing Separately                               $ 8,750
Head of Household                                       $14,000
