Adjusted Cost Basis for a home you built

We built a home in 2009, and sold it in 2015.  We bought the land and built the home, and never had a mortgage on it or anything.  I have no idea how to calculate the Adjusted Costs Basis for the home.

It's the cost of the land, plus the cost of the construction and any other improvements to the land (bringing in sewer, water, gas, etc), plus any further permanent improvements since construction.  You can't count the value of your own labor, if you did the work yourself. You include any costs paid to others (contractors, materials, inspections, etc.)

Is the "Date acquired" the date I purchased the land or the date I move in the house?
