1099-NEC escrow

My client worked for a trkg co but used their truck and had to give Trkg Co $ before starting, they put the $ in an escrow account.  He no longer works for them, they sent him a 1099-NEC, how do I record this refund in TurboTax?

I am assuming that he has a Schedule C already, to claim his income.  If he does, just include this reimbursement as income on Schedule C.
