Working remotely in Virginia while living in Maryland

Hi all. I wonder if anyone can advise on my situation. I started working remotely for a company located in Virginia last Feb while I continue to live in Maryland. And in my W2 form I see my Virginia employer withheld around 7000 income tax (box 17). Is that a mistake? On turbo tax, it is asking me to file 763S form. Should I request that 7000 income tax as a refund on that form and check the box of "Employee mistakenly withheld taxes" box on my Virginia Return? Thanks in advanced!

Yes, because you worked remotely in Maryland, you can request the refund from Virginia with the "Employer mistakenly withheld taxes."
