TurboTax does not know how to compute credits for taxes paid to other jurisdictions correctly for a New Jersey return for taxes paid to the city of Philadelphia. So I calculate them myself following the instructions in https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/pdf/pubs/tgi-ee/git3b.pdf and have to create three NJ-COJ forms to cover the different components of the credit (PA state taxes, Philadelphia Net Profit Tax, and Philadelphia Business Income & Receipts Tax).
This year, TurboTax Home & Business for Mac won't let me delete the inaccurate NJ-COJ that it automatically created for Pennsylvania. For the past three years I've been able to do this successfully -- although then I was using the Windows version of TurboTax -- but now whenever I delete a COJ form it recreates it as the Pennsylvania credit which is incorrectly computed.
