Will NY be taxing full year of income if I'm a part year resident? The review page starting with my entire federal income. My info page LISTED both NY and MA state.

I was a part yes resident of NY until Oct 26th 2019.. then moved to MA for the remainder of the year. The return review page, is showing them starting with my entire federal adjusted gross income. I checked my info page and it listed both NY and MA states.

NY will use your full year of income to determine your tax rate. They will then apply that rate to the NY portion of your income. Only the NY-portion will be taxed by NY.
