My federal return has been approved. I need to call the state office to get some information for my state return

IRS generally says that it takes 21 days to process approved tax returns, however, processing times can vary.

If your return shows it was accepted, you can check on your federal refund from the IRS website using this link:  Check on my Refund Status.
