Why would I be contacted by the Louisiana department of revenue after filing taxes

TurboTax wouldn't know why the LA Department of Revenue would be contacting you.

Contacted how? Generally, government's send letters. They don't call you or email you.

If you received a letter, there should be a contact phone number that you can call to find out the reason for the letter.
